Energy healing is an alternative, holistic practice of which the aim is to create a state of balance, health and peace in a person. Generally, the body’s subtle energy systems are activated to remove energy blockages or imbalances that can lead to distress and suffering. By breaking through these energetic blocks, the body’s inherent ability to repair itself is stimulated.
Lets Talk About Doubt
- “I made it all up”
- “It didn’t really happen”
- “It didn’t work”
- “This is just woo-woo nonsense”
I’ve heard it all as a practitioner and might have even had one or another of those thoughts from time to time myself. A certain amount of skepticism is healthy. However, understand that doubting is the number one blocking mechanism to any type of energy healing method. It doesn’t negate the positive effect or benefit, but only makes it inaccessible to you, which defeats the purpose.
Remember, Quantum Energy Healing is thought to work on subtle levels of the human energy field, or in the subconscious mind in the case of hypnosis, where the effects of thoughts and beliefs are seen as real as any physical object. The human psyche is a powerful and marvelous force indeed. Employ your mind to work with you instead of against you. Rather than doubting everything or or being overly skeptical, allow the energies to do their thing.
Be open to the idea of energy healing. I’d be happy to provide mantras or any kind of other support if you’re finding it difficult to accept the work with the spirit of allowing.
A Word About Healing Crises
This is an important concept to understand when taking on any type of wellness improvement plan or energetic intervention. A time of energetic crisis may occur during or shortly after activating positive, healthful new steps for your body. This crisis includes physical, mental, emotional and spiritual/energetic components. Any one of the modalities offered here can potentially trigger a crisis. Symptoms may include:
- Physical symptoms: a touchy stomach, aches or discomfort, skin eruptions, and tiredness.
- Mental and emotional symptoms: At times, you may unexpectedly feel irritated, anxious, fearful, angry, sad or foggy.
But don’t worry, these emotional states are temporary and should pass.
Or there will be no symptoms at all and you feel great! Yay!
Here are some suggestions to make this natural process easier.
- Stay hydrated Drink plenty of water: 8 to 16 cups a day can help flush your body and should help relieve you of symptoms faster.
- Get plenty of sleep. Emotional and mental stress are thought to weaken your immune system and prolong symptoms. Make sure to get plenty of rest. You can also try to relax with yoga or meditation when you feel fatigued.
- Release, release, release. With several of the modalities offered here, images, names, faces, events etc may resurface. They are coming up with the intention to be processed and released. Let them go with gratitude for the lessons they brought, however difficult.
