Preparing For Your Session
So you’ve decided to have a session! That’s wonderful! Here is an easy to follow list of things to do the days before your session that will help you maximize the effectiveness of your experience.
1. Write out your Questions
Spend some time thinking up all the questions you’d like answered. You can handwrite them or type them up and have a printed copy available. Just make sure the most important questions are listed first so they are sure to be addressed.
Questions can cover just about any topic. Money, relationships, and jobs are usually the bigs ones, and, of course, questions about your LIFE PURPOSE! Others can include your spiritual path, soulmates, big decisions, family, etc.
Examples of Questions:
- Why do I have such-and-such health issues? Can they be resolved?
- In which state, region, city, etc. would I be happiest living?
- Why am I dealing with this difficult relationship and what is the lesson I need to learn from it?
- I had a really weird dream or experience. Why did it happen and what does it mean?
- Who are my spirit guides and guardian angels?
- How do I tap into and develop my intuitive or psychic skills?
- How can I create more abundance in my life?
- What foods should I avoid or incorporate into my diet for maximum vitality?
- What should I be doing with my life and what is my purpose?
2. Open your Mind
Your Higher Self knows the instant that you’ve decided to have a QHHT session and seems to double its efforts to communicate with you. Really, it never ceases communicating, but the normal distractions of a busy life tends to block its messages. Meditation makes it easier to receive the wisdom and guidance as does being asleep. While the mind is at rest in mediation or sleep, communication can flow in the forms of dreams, images, words, sounds, etc.
In the days before your session, pay special attention to your dreams and intuitive impulses. If you don’t already, try meditating. Your Higher Self is thrilled that the path to clear communication at last is opening as the date of your session approaches! Imagine finally being able to talk to a dearly loved one after years of desperately sending notes and letters that may or may not have been received or understood!
3. Ask for CLEAR Communication.
Ask and you shall receive. During the days before your session, INTEND that you’ll get the answers you seek and that the communication will be clear. Ask this directly of your Subconscious. Envision a clear channel. Your Higher Self is YOU, not some unknown entity.
4. Bring no expectations!
Similar to number 2 above, if you arrive at your session with expectations or ideas of what you want to happen, you risk disappointment. Remember, you are getting answers from YOU HIGHER SELF. The QHHT practitioner is merely facilitating the session, keeping everything running smoothly. The content and what is revealed is purely up to your Higher Self and how much you are able to let come through. Sometimes, you may not get or experience what you thought you would and come away disappointed. Feelings of disappointment tend to block the feelings that arise from the wonderful things that DID happen. Coming with an open mind is the best thing you can do. ANYTHING can happen.
5. Clear Your Schedule
Make sure you’re not booked for anything else on the day of your session. Preferably, you want to be able to take it easy after your session. This will be explained more in the post-session section.
